Dr. Novak has worked in several different fields of veterinary medicine, from USDA field research, where she has published several journal articles, to laboratory research, shelter medicine and private practice. After graduating from CSU, Dr. Novak went to Arizona to work in private practice and found herself at the 2004 Shelter of the Year, Arizona Humane Society Second Chance Animal Hospital providing care to sick and injured stray animals where she was featured on the Animal Planet show, Animal Heroes- Phoenix. Tired of the big city, Dr. Novak moved to Cheyenne in 2006 and then opened La Zoetry Pet Clinic in 2010. Her recent accomplishments have included utilizing her laser, acupuncture, and chiropractic methods to get pets walking again and was featured in the Wyoming News in 2019. She was also voted "Best of the Best  in Cheyenne".

Dr. Novak is a member of several kennel clubs and is very active in showing her dogs, which include several champion and versatile dogs. She continues to attend shows where she offers her laser, chiropractic, and acupuncture services, through Healing Hands Integrative Veterinary Care, to keep those dogs feeling great so they can do well. Dr. Novak enjoys life with her many pets as well as outdoor activities, running marathons, and motorcycle riding in her spare time.

Miss. T was found on January 2, 2014 in a dumpster at LCCC. She had her skull broken by a hammer and was left there for over a week before she was found. She was very small for her age, had a fever, and was blind. After a significant amount of veterinary care, including 2 brain surgeries, she is now having the time of her life as part of the team at La Zoetry Pet Clinic. You can often find her sun bathing just in front of the door or helping out at reception.

We have taken our pets (dogs and cats) to La Zoetry for nearly 5 years and I recommend them to everyone and anyone looking for a loving, compassionate, knowledgeable and ethical vet

Rachel

This clinic, staff and Dr. Novak are wonderful. It is obvious from the moment you walk in how much they care for your pet and animals in general. I appreciate the quality care my pet received and highly recommend their services to anyone in need.

This practice is everything I’ve wished for but had given up on ever finding. The doctor and staff remember me and my pets when I arrive and offer affordable, realistic care in line with the life I want to provide for both my young, healthy animals (with offerings like chiropractic adjustments for wild pups and agility stars) and my older animals nearing the end of their life (by providing pain management, laser therapy, and an understanding that sometimes every veterinary intervention possible doesn’t necessarily improve quality of life). In addition to laser therapy and chiropractics, they also offer acupuncture which is amazing!

Super caring group of people. They LISTEN to what is going on with your fur baby and clearly communicate options. Our family is incredibly picky about care for our dogs, and we absolutely trust Dr. Novak and her team. They go above and beyond for their clients. And our dogs are always happy to see them!
